YPP Examination Job Openings
Exam
The 2019 examinations will be administered using an online testing platform. Information sessions will be organized on the online testing platform and exam preparation.

G to P Applicants
- Have completed five years of continuous service in the Secretariat at the time they apply for the examination
- Hold a UN Secretariat appointment valid until 15 June 2020 (or whose appointment is expected to be extended until then). For the contract extension template, please click here.
- Have a rating of at least “successfully meets performance expectations” in their last two performance assessment periods
- Are fluent in either English or French
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent three-year degree in a relevant subject area (as listed in the job opening)
G to N Applicants
- Are nationals of one of the 60 participating countries
- Are 32 years old or younger by the end of this year (born on or after 1 January 1987)
- Hold a UN Secretariat appointment valid until 15 June 2020 (or whose appointment is expected to be extended until then). For the contract extension template, please click here.
- Have a rating of at least “successfully meets performance expectations” in their latest performance assessment periods
- Are fluent in either English or French
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent three-year degree in the relevant subject area (as listed in the job opening)
